Dear Friends,
Our friend, Paul Sabuco, needs our help. He is fighting cancer, and has had to take time off work. Paul is a gigging musician, and as you well know, that's not a job that comes with any paid time off or benefits. Furthermore, Lisa, Paul's girlfriend, has had to take unpaid time off work too in order to take care of him, especially when this was first diagnosed and Paul was really ill in the hospital ...a double slam.
If you know Paul at all, you know that he is one of the most caring, loyal, giving, and compassionate people around. If he only had $10 and you needed it, he would give it to you. He's a really special person, and he always makes people laugh and feel happy. He cares about others and their feelings almost to a fault. He enthusiastically volunteers to play benefit shows for important causes and people (and animals) in need. He has lots of emotional support and positive-thinking friends who have been helping as much as they can, and this is so important.
While it took some convincing for Paul and Lisa to agree to this fundraiser for them, they really do need our financial help right now to get through this rough patch. While the plan is for Paul to be playing gigs again very soon, he has had to cancel a LOT of them from the time he started getting sick through his second chemo treatment, which ended today. And, he may have to take it slow at first. Please help them with any amount you can give, no matter how small. Even $5 will help! Even $1! It all adds up.
Family, friends, and music are everything to Paul. Please enjoy the photos of Paul, Lisa, and kids. And please help this family in a time of great need.
